We love hearing from our ChangeMaker community about how, with each new week, they are feeling inspired and hopeful about the future through learning about the hard work of the nonprofits featured on 52andChange. Because of you and your fellow ChangeMakers, we have provided more than $40,000 in funding to impactful nonprofits since our “soft launch” began in 2021.

Alongside that, the reports of the ripple effect of introducing nonprofits to tens of thousands of new people has been extraordinary. Together we’ve become volunteers in places we would have never expected, planted milkweed for butterflies, provided books to kids in need, helped save endangered turtles, helped turn excess food into nutrition, helped bring art to youth, educated one another about how we are connected to our delicate food systems, helped save abandoned horses and given old dogs new hope, watched foster youth shine in the spotlight of movie making, helped clean tires out of rivers… we could go on and on and on. It is an absolute joy to be a part of such an amazing network of humans making a difference.

We’re letting you know that through September 4th we will be bringing back some of the most exciting nonprofits we have partnered with, so they can benefit from one more round of support. After that we will be moving out of our soft launch phase, pausing campaigns and automatic monthly donations (of course we will refund any unused contributions) while we work behind the scenes, focusing on the next phase of our growth.

We will keep you updated, but wanted to give you a heads up as we wind down this phase, because you are 52andChange! Stay tuned for a survey in the coming weeks; we want to know what has and hasn’t worked for you.
