Platform development update

52andChange thanks our early supporters for bearing with us as we do the backend work to build our unique crowdfunding platform from scratch. The design team at Monster Design has been hard at work on an infrastructure that we’ve all carefully tuned to tell the whole story of each nonprofit, while helping our users quickly determine whether or not it’s a cause they want to support. It takes thoughtful, purposeful, and friction-free design to make something like this work right and interact in a wider way with the social media and email that’ll be used to make it all work.

We’re thrilled to be able to show you a few screen grabs of the look-and-feel… it looks and feels right to us! The idea is to jump straight into our campaigns as early as Spring 2021 — wish us luck and stay tuned.

Together we’ve become volunteers in places we would have never expected, planted milkweed for butterflies, provided books to kids in need, helped save endangered turtles, helped turn excess food into nutrition, helped bring art to youth, educated one another about how we are connected to our delicate food systems, helped save abandoned horses and given old dogs new hope, watched foster youth shine in the spotlight of movie making, helped clean tires out of rivers… we could go on and on and on. It is an absolute joy to be a part of such an amazing network of humans making a difference.
