The Right Step, Inc. and MicroMatching

‘Tis the season of giving! This week’s Cause of the Week, is another nonprofit that gives all they can to help people, every day, no matter the season. We are thrilled to bring back The Right Step, Inc., to benefit from this week’s MicroMatching opportunity at 52andChange.org. Through Sunday, we’ll be raising as many microdonations ($1, $2, $3… but never more than $10) as we can to support their mission to better the lives of people with disabilities through the healing power of horses.

52andChange will also match all donations, up to $500, so when you give a little today, the impact will be doubled!

Why give to The Right Step?

Connecting with horses positively impacts individuals with special needs, many of whom are experiencing social isolation increased by the impact of COVID-19.
This innovative organization has special programs developed for veterans, frontline essential workers, and individuals with autism.
Their goal is to never turn anyone away because of an inability to pay.
This profound project has seen its operating costs increase as the cost of hay, feed, and supplies continues to rise.

It just feels good to support an organization that is helping bring connection and peace to an underserved community during these tumultuous times. Learn more about The Right Step, Inc. and their inspiring work here.

Together we’ve become volunteers in places we would have never expected, planted milkweed for butterflies, provided books to kids in need, helped save endangered turtles, helped turn excess food into nutrition, helped bring art to youth, educated one another about how we are connected to our delicate food systems, helped save abandoned horses and given old dogs new hope, watched foster youth shine in the spotlight of movie making, helped clean tires out of rivers… we could go on and on and on. It is an absolute joy to be a part of such an amazing network of humans making a difference.
