Green Living Science and MicroMatching

June 27, 2022

Do you know that Americans generate more waste per capita than any other nation in the world? This week we’re celebrating Green Living Science’s efforts to bring education about recycling and natural resource conservation to Detroit's youth, businesses, and other community members.

If you don’t know already, here’s how it works: Through Sunday, we gather as many microdonations ($1-10) as we can to support our Cause of the Week at 52andChange.org. On our end, we’ll match all donations that come in, up to $500, so $500 in microdonations can multiply to become $1000! It’s the power of collective giving. If you haven’t already, give a little and see how it feels. 😊

Why Green Living Science?

We love nonprofits that see a need and dive in to help make change! Green Living Science increases recycling participation and awareness of environmental issues and personal responsibility through education.

Green Living Science's offerings include educational programs, recycling programs, field trips, and tours, and they have reached more than 300,000 youth so far!

We’re so grateful to the staff at Green Living Science for their efforts to make Detroit a cleaner place, and we’re also grateful for you, joining one another to help make a difference this week by giving a little and sharing a lot.

It is an absolute joy to be a part of such an amazing network of humans making a difference.
