Sandy Hook Promise and MicroMatching

We at 52andChange are mourning alongside the rest of the nation, and also looking for ways to take action. This week we are raising awareness about the nonprofit Sandy Hook Promise and using our microgiving model to raise as many $1-10 gifts as we can to support their work. Research has proven that Sandy Hook Promise’s Know the Signs programs effectively teach youth and adults how to prevent school violence, shootings, and other harmful acts. Students and educators learn how to identify at-risk behaviors and intervene to get help. These early-prevention measures empower everyone to help keep schools and communities safe.

Their sister organization, Sandy Hook Promise Action Fund, is dedicated to helping pass common-sense reforms.
